Starting the trek from Syange/Jagat, the trail traces through the traditional Annapurna Circuit up-to Koto and then diverse to Dharmasala – Khyang and Phu village (4,070m) following the unexplored trekking trails of the valley. The trek also gives us chance to explore the abandoned Khampa settlements. Phu: also known as head of the valley is renowned for Tashi Lhakhang Gompa which was supposed to be built in 10th century.The trail from Phu traces to another popular village Nar (3,730m) which is bigger and beautiful than Phu. After trekking in the Nar-Phu villages, the trail follows the Manang crossing Kang La Pass. The most extraordinary moment of the trek is traversing Manang to Mustang through the highest pass: Thorang La Pass. Eventually, the trek drops down through Jomsom-Kagbeni to Ghorepani and then Poon Hill from where trekkers can perceive the spectacular scenery of the snow capped mountains and golden sunrise view. The trek is adventurous, melodious, pleasant and exquisite which should not be missed by enthusiastic trekkers.
The Nar-Phu Valley Trekking is comparatively longer, strenuous, and challenging than any other trek in Annapurna region trek which demands extra physical fitness and prior trekking experience; otherwise this trek could be risky and hazardous to novice and unfit trekkers. During the trek, we trace through dense forest, deep canyons, narrow ridge and cliff, grazing settlements and high passes which could sometime need technical well equipped gears during winter and summer seasons.
On the first day, one of the representatives of MMT welcomes you at the Airport Terminal and then you will be taken to MMT office at Kaldhara for all the further detail information about the trip. Eventually, the authorized person safely and comfortably takes you to the respective hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy the city night life in Thamel; main tourist hub in Kathmandu.
This day is scheduled to visit the UNESCO listed World Heritage sites including: Swayambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath, along with other historical and holy places. Swoyambnhunath: After delightful breakfast in the morning, our city tour guide takes you to Swayambhunath which is at the top of the hillock to the west of Thamel. Swayambhunath is one of the oldest temples of Nepal which is popular among foreigners as ‘Monkey Temple’. The spectacular scenery, cheerful monkeys, tranquil environment makes Swoyambhu worth visit. Patan Durbar square: The excursion then accelerates towards Patan, the city of festival, feast, art and culture. The city is prominent place to visit due to ancient Patan Durbar square, Krishna Mandir, Ganesh mandir and many more temples and places. We inspect art, history, cultural importance and architectural craftsmanship of the city. Boudhanath: Boudhanath is next destination of city tour which lies at northeast of Kathmandu. The stupa here is one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and is mostly visited by the Buddhist and Hindus pilgrims throughout the year. The aesthetic monks, prayer hymn, rolling Mani Wheels, and effused incense stick have made the vibrant ambiance in this area. Pashupatinath: Another most exciting place to visit in Kathmandu is Pashupatinath temple, the oldest temple in Nepal. This temple of lord Shiva is one of the sacred temples of Hindus living in every nook and corner. Non-Hindus are not allowed to enter inside the premises of the temple; however, one can capture the photos of the traditional cremation ceremony and temple from the opposite bank of the holy Bagmati River. After visiting the main UNESCO heritage sites, the guides then take you back to your own hotel. Get refreshed and prepare gears or luggage for the next day trek.
After delicate breakfast in the early morning, we drive to in our private jeep/van through Prithivi highway tracing the route of thankot, Dhading, Gorkha and Lamjung (Besisahar) before we reach at Sange/ Jagat. The first 5-6 hours of drive is so relaxing and comfortable due to coal tarred road up-to Besisahar; then-after, we experience the bumpy, dusty and rustic drive up-to our destination Jagat. Today’s drive is thrilling and exciting; as well as we also witness countryside lifestyle, green rolling hills at backdrop, surging rivers, dazzling snow-clad mountains, terraced farmland and pristine environment which ease our soul and mind. After 8-10 hours of scenic drive, we reach at Syange/ Jagat where we take today’s shelter.
From Syange, we start our trek through dense forest and surging Marsyangdi river crossing suspension bridge over river canyon. Along the trail, we see numerous waterfalls, green lush vegetation and rice fields in steep hills. After an hour of steep staircase walk through dense forest and wooden bridges, we reach at Chamje. Again crossing many suspension bridges over Marsyangdi River and tracing through the dense forest, steep rocky trail, the trail leads us to Tal village. The journey from Tal then ascends to the famous village Dharapani with outstanding view of waterfall, ridges, cliffs, and greenish landscape. Overnight, stay at Dharapani.
After morning breakfast, we ascend uphill through dense forest, tributaries, gorges and steep stone staircase tracing the villages Bagarchap and Danakyu. The journey offers us to enjoy fascinating turquoise surrounding; the Tibetan Buddhist Lifestyle, culture and tradition; panoramic view of snow-clad mountains: Lamjung Himal, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, and few other peaks. After 5-6 hours of trek from Dharapani, we reach at Koto for today’s meals and accommodation.
We have our delicate breakfast in the early morning and prepare for today’s trek. From Koto, the trail drops for few minutes then we cross a suspension bridge over the confluence river of Marsyandi and Naar Khola. After crossing the bridge, we turn right side and ascend ahead through dense forest to ACAP Campsite along Naar Khola. From the campsite, the trail follows the ridge crossing suspension bridge, Soti-bridge over Seti Khola and another bridge before passing Hulaki Odar (Post man cave). While walking from Campside to Hulaki Odar, we come across numerous bridges and natural caves along the trails. The surging rivers, narrow cliff walk, serene scenery and green surrounding entice the trekkers to enjoy the trek. From Hulaki Odar, the trek advances further crossing two suspension bridges over Narphu Khola and enjoying the surging big waterfall below the village Dharmasala. After 4-5 hours of walk from Koto, we take today’s shelter at Dharmasala.
Today’s trail is one of the shortest but strenuous trails of Narphu Valley Trek. In the early morning, we have our warm breakfast and begin our trek from Dharmasala ascending through landslide prone trail along Phu Khola. After walking for few hours, we cross a small stream and climb steep up through barley field and reach at wide winter settlement: Meta. The trail from Meta again ascends until we reach at the Nar-Phu junction from where the trails either head to Nar or to Phu villages. From the junction, we climb steep up to Jhunum, then descend down, cross the suspension bridge over stream and continue to climb the moraine glacier trail until we reach at Chyakhu. Further from Chyakhu village, the trail ascends for few minutes and descends down to Murju Khola which separates the two Nar and Phu villages. Eventually, cross a wooden bridge, climb again through moraine and small pass and drop down to Khyang: the most beautiful winter settlement of. Overnight, stay at Khyang.
From Kyang, the trail descends steep down through the rocky boulders of Phu Khola and ascends on the gorge to Khaki hillside from where we descend to S-shaped valley. Again, we ascend along the canyon, pass through the Phupi Gyaigoe gate and enter inside the Phu region. The trail then traces along the edge, passes a ruined fort and descends to suspension before before climbing up to cliff of Phu village. After few hours of walk from Khyang, we reach at the extraordinary village of this region where we take today’s shelter.
Today, you can either give rest to your tired limbs or join the short hike we organize to explore the Phu Valley. The short hike either leads up-to Nagoru Kharka (Pasture) or to the Himlung Base Camp (4,920m). After enjoying the delicious breakfast, we visit Tashi Lhakhang Gompa on the hill-top and explore architecture of gompa; observe ceremonial trumpets and the mask of god Dorje Dorlo. From the helipad round the Gompa, we can witness the spectacular view of the Phu valley. The traditional culture, ancient forts and gompas are some of the attractions of the village. Phu also provides the panoramic scenery and tantalizing lighting for breath-taking photography. Overnight, stay at Phu.
From Phu, the trail descends retracing the previous trodden trail to Khyang, Chyarkhu and Jhunum until we come at the junction. The trail then drops down to Nar Phedi crossing two small bridges over the canyon of Dho Khola. After trekking for 6-7 hours from Phu, we reach at Nar Phedi to take shelter at lodge or at monastery: whichever is available for us.
Today, we ascend steep up to the 1st entrance gate of Nar Valley; again climb along the curvy ridge enjoying the panoramic view of some peaks and pass beautifully colored eight-sided chortens. After couple of hours of trek from Nar Phedi, we pass the 2nd entrance gate of Nar Valley and trace the trail above stone wall until we reach at the most beautiful and decent villages of Narphu valley. Overnight, stay at Nar village.
Today is the second scheduled acclimatization day of the trek. During this day, we explore the culture, tradition, lifestyle and beautiful gompas of Phu village. The day will also be rest and preparation day for tomorrow’s longest and challenging Kang La Pass (5,322m) trail. After few hours of short hike, we return back to the lodge and give rest to the muscle and limbs.
Today, we start the trek in the early morning as we have to cross the Kang La before noon; otherwise it becomes difficult due to strong wind in the daytime. From Nar, the trail climbs up through the village Kani with the splendid view of Pisang Peak. After an hour of walk, we come across the yak pasture and then climb the hill from where Nar village is seen for the last time. The trail from the hill now descends to Kang La Phedi (4,620m) and then we cross a small stream on a metal bridge. The trek further follows the steep up then curve into the ridge and eventually traces the zigzag path to the top of the Kang La, marked by large cairn. From the pass, we can witness the spectacular view Annapurna II, Tilicho Lake, Gangapurna and few other peaks. The trail to Ngawal hereafter follows the downhill grassy route and then through the moraine glacier for few minutes. After moraine path ends, the hill top before descending down to Ngawal offers the magnificent view of two big waterfalls of Chulu Peak. Finally, we drop steep down to Ngawal for today’s accommodation and meals.
After breakfast, we walk alongside Lophelling Monastery and Shey Monastery above Ngawal, we reach at Julu intersection from where we turn right to Braga Village where we have our lunch and then walk on the cliff through the upstream of Marsyandi River to the most advanced village: Manang. The village is one of the largest villages of this region where we spend the two nights and acclimatization day. Overnight, stay at Manang.
As suggested by health expertise, acclimatization at the higher altitude is mandatory in long days trek. Today, we organize a short hike to Bhojo Gompa or Gangapuram Lake or Braga Monastery and explore the culture, tradition as well as the elegant surrounding of the village. We also visit Himalayan Rescue Association and learn about Acute Mountain Sickness too. The day is fruitful to rest the limbs and muscle as we have to climb to the highest pass: Thorang La Pass in two days time.
In the early morning, we eat delicious breakfast and then prepare for our journey. From Manang, we cross a stream and ascend to the Tenki Village. Then, we turn to north and follow through dense forest and pasture land before we reach at tiny village: Ghusang. Tracing the bent trail and crossing the suspension bridge on the ridge, we climb steep up to Yak Kharkha for today’s overnight stay.
The trail today is short, steep yet pleasant. From Yak Kharkha, we ascend Steep up to landslide risk trail alongside Kone Khola; and then cross a suspension bridge before we reach at Ledar village. The trail then ascends uphill along Marsyangdi River crossing several streams and narrow path then eventually descends to Thorang La Phedi tracing landslide prone trail. Overnight, stay at Thorang La Phedi.
Thorang La Pass is the highest, challenging and adventurous Pass on Annapurna Circuit. From Thrang La Phedi, we ascend steep up and reach at the top of Thorang High Camp. After walking for few hours and crossing bridges and false summit, we reach at the top of the Thorang La Pass which is the vantage point to witness the wonderful Annapurna Range, Kali Gandaki Gorge, pristine scenery and snow-clad mountains in the distance. Enjoying sometime at the Pass, we descend down towards one of the sacred Hindu-Buddhist Muktinath temple. Overnight, stay at Muktinath.
After delicious breakfast, we leave Muktinath in a hired jeep. The drive from Muktinath offers us something extraordinary adventurous escapade in the arid landscape of Mustang. We drive from Muktinath through dry, busty and rustic road; and after one and half hour, we drive through trading route of Kagbeni and reach at Jomsom. The wind at jomsom can blow you in the air. On our way to tatopani, we come across the famous apple orchid village: Marpha. The blooming flowers or trees full of apples in the village make the drive awe-inspiring and rejuvenating. The drive then leads us to famous village of the natural hot springs Tatopani for today’s shelter.
After spending wonderful time at the natural hot spring on previous day, we resume our trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani in the early morning. Walking along the motor road, we drop down for a while and cross one of the longest suspension bridge over Kali Gandaki River tracing through dense forest and the villages Ghara, Shikha, Phalate and Chitre before reaching Ghorepani. Overnight, we stay at Ghorepani.
In the early morning, we trek to one of the most elegant hill top of Annapurna Region for wonderful view. Poon Hill is the spectacular place from where we can witness the coruscating view of Annapurna south, Dhaulagiri, Gangapurna, Annapurna I, etc. After enjoying the pristine scenery and stupendous view of snow clad mountains, we descend to Tadapani following the steep staircase. Tadapni also offer the view of Annapurna south and Macchapuchre Himal. Overnight, stay at Tadapani.
After enjoying delicate breakfast, we start our hike from Tadapani to Ghandruk tracing through traditional Gurung villages and the dense forest. Ghandruk is the beautiful and cultural Gurung village of the region. If we reach on time, we explore the village, visit museum and enjoy the culture-tradition of Gurung community at Ghandruk.
At Ghandruk, we enjoy our early morning breakfast witnessing the elegant surrounding and commence our trek descending down to Pothana walking along the cliff and dense forest. Treading the curve path below Landruk, we drop to Tolka, Deurali and then finally reach at Pothana which is at the ridge and offers the coruscating view of numerous snow-clad mountains. Today, we take shelter at Pothana.
The journey offers us the pristine views of Himalayan Range, green lush vegetation while descending From Pothana to Dhampus to Phedi through dense forest. At Phedi, we take some rest and drive to famous and beautiful tourist hub of Nepal Pokhara where we celebrate our victory and enjoy the modern amenities.
Enjoy the delicious breakfast at the city of lakes before we leave Pokhara. From Pokhara, we drive for 5-6 hours on tourist bus and reach at Katmandu in the afternoon. You can take rest in the hotel or stroll around Thamel area to enjoy the city life.
After final checking at hotel, we leave towards Tribhuwan International Airport for departure flight.
Eating is a big part of Holiday. Travelling with Mountain Mart Trek, you experience the vast array of wonderful food Nepalese, Chinese, Continental, Italian and several local cuisines. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are included in the package. Your guide will suggest delicious, hygienic and each place special food during your trip. Mountain restaurant owner prefer not to order many dishes and waste food as they would like to cater more trekkers with limited food before run off stuck. Its a week or more days hard work to porters and caravans to bring food to these places. During this trek you will usually have breakfast and dinner at the same Lodge, lunch will be eaten at one of the trail side restaurants en-route.
A Tea House is the combination of guest house, restaurant, and social hang out. Private rooms are available in most Tea Houses, except for high altitudes ones where it will be just dormitories. The lodges are fairly basic. The rooms are spare with twin beds and very little additional furniture. Blankets are generally provided. There is a large dining room-cum-lounge, warmed by the bukhara stove (an iron cylinder, fitted with a chimney duct, in which a log fire is lighted. There is normally no electric lighting in the rooms unless the village has hydroelectric power. The dining room usually hassolar lighting.
Most teahouses now also have electricity for charging small appliances - mobile phones and cameras - and there may be a small charge for this.
Mountain Mart Trek provides unlimited chlorine/Iodine treated water during the trek. All tea houses have mineral water and boiled water for trekkers upon additional cost. We discourage the purchase of Mineral water and bottled water while on the Trek as plastic bottles aredifficult to dispose off and have become an environmental problem

This is a very active trip, meaning you will be on the move most of the time, so pack as lightly as possible. We provide one porter for every two travellers; your trekking gear will be carried by the porter in a duffel bag that we will provide. The maximum the porters are allowed to carry 15 kgs per trekker means 30 kgs from 2 trekkers . Unnecessary luggage can left in Kathmandu Hotel and its absolutely free of cost. .

You will need to bring a comfortable medium sized day pack to carry the things that you will need during the day. This should have a waist strap or (better) a padded waist belt. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the year.

2. The term ‘Trip’ formally refers to walking, sightseeing, treks, tours, mountaineering, expeditions or holiday in the mystical land, Nepal.

4. Please go through itinerary page or trek inclusion page for the detail information of the cost transparency. The trek cost may vary from one package to another and some packages don’t include the cost of the following:
5. The travelers must pay 20% upfront out of the total trip cost for the trip conformation.
6. You can pay the booking conformation amount either by credit card and wire transfer, both payment option subject to charge additional bank service fees upto 4% on top of the sum.
7. The trip will be booked once the payment is made by the travelers. We will send you the conformation letter through online and assure to provide all the service detail as mentioned in the itinerary.
8. The final payment must be submitted at the MMT office before the tip departure. Otherwise, you will not be legitimate for trip and no final documentation will be disclosed before the payment.
09. Regarding trip cancellation, we entertain free trip cancellation service upon submission of trustable reason before 90 days of the departure date upon adequate evidence and written reasons.
10. If you cancel the trip 60 days prior to the departure date then 75% cancellation fee will be levied from the booking amount.
11. 85% cancellation fee will be levied if you cancel the trip before 30 days of the trip departure date.
12. The company will be unable to refund the earlier paid (20%) booking payment if you cancel the trek prior to 15 days of the departure date.
13. There will be no payment refund if you voluntarily leave or cancel the trip once it is started; but if you are forced to leave due to unforeseen immediate circumstances then payment can be refunded after proper discretion.
14. We guarantee your safe and successful trip; however, the company reserves the authority to cancel the trip if there will be no minimum number (2) of travelers. In this condition, company will postpone or manage alternative trip.
15. If the company cancels the trip due to any unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control (i.e. natural disaster, flight cancellation, strikes, wars, riots, quarantine, government intervention policy, weather condition), we will refund after deduction of minimum operating cost involved.
16. If you want to change your booking date, the booking amendment request must be made 90 days prior to the original trip departure.
17. If trekkers demand to change the departure date prior to 60 days of the final departure, US $ 50.00 per person will be charged as cancelation fee. The charge of the trip may also be increased if the market price soars higher during the postponed trip date.
18. The policy of our company is: Trekkers must have insurance policy contract if they want to trek with MMT. The policy must feature: medical coverage, air ambulance, helicopter evacuation facility, as well as flight cancellation insurance if possible.
19. Mountain Mart Treks and Expedition organizes various adventurous trips which have high risk factor and demand more physical stamina plus training. If you can’t accomplish the trek due to your physical inability or sickness, we are not obliged to refund the payment.
20. There may appear hindrance, obstacles or circumstances like: political riot, insurgency, accident, climate change, or natural disasters during the course of trip. Make sure you are ready to deal with all these problems.
21. The trip route, accommodation, modes of transport may be changed without prior notice due to the unforeseen circumstances. It is for your convenience and safety, so hope you will display flexible human nature in this context.
22. While changing the route, transportation, accommodation, or itinerary due to above circumstances, we may charge additional cost or lessen the cost as per the total expenses of the entire trek.
23. MMT holds all the authority to decline, accept, detain or retain any members of the trip if we find anyone suspicious or indiscipline. If you want to trek with MMT, you must accept our leadership during the whole trip.
24. MMT has contracted with network of companies, government of Nepal, individuals to assist the travelers during the trip. These third parties are qualified to perform their duties as contracted. We are not liable in case of loss, damage, irregularities if the third parties don’t perform their duties properly.
25. MMT is not responsible for the violation of any law or rules committed by the travelers in any country.
26. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Government of Nepal. No any individual: employees, representatives, guides of the company can alter the terms and conditions.
27. These terms and conditions may only be waived in special circumstances with written application to the director. Only the director of the company has all the right to amend them.
28. Travelers must be physically and mentally fit for the trekking. It is compulsory to bring health certificates along with proper legal documents for trip approval, if asked.
29. If the flight is cancelled or get delayed due to fluctuate climate or any other causes, MMT is not responsible for the extra expenses or compensation. We can manage alternative arrangement on special request which may demand other extra cost.

Foreigners other than Indian citizen, who intend to visit Nepal must hold a valid passport prior to applying for a Nepal visa. The passport must have six months validity from the date of arrival. Foreigners can obtain a Nepalese visa upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, or at a border immigration office. A foreigner who has departed before the expiry of the period specified in the visa issued in a visa year shall not be allowed to use the visa by adding the remaining period to another visa year. If any foreigner who has entered Nepal towards the end of a visa year desires to extend his/her stay into the new visa year, he/she may do so by purchasing another visa for the New Year. Provided, however, that the computation of the fees for such period shall be made on the basis of the total period of the stay.

A transit visa for one day can be obtained from Nepal's immigration offices at an entry point upon the production of a departure flight ticket via Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The fee is US$ 5 or equivalent convertible currency. A transit visa may not be extended.
A Nepali Visa can be obtained from Nepal Embassy / Consulate Offices in your country, or upon arrival at Kathmandu airport. It is also possible to obtain the visa from other border points of entry. You'll need 1 passport photo each time.
For foreign investors, a business visa with a multiple entry facility for a period of one year or five years can be obtained from the Department of Immigration on the recommendation of the Department of Industry and Commerce by paying US$ 100 and US$ 250 or equivalent convertible foreign or Nepali currency.

Foreign visitors are requested to keep a note of the dates on their Nepalese visa and their passport number to avoid possible problems. Visa extensions need to be applied for, within the valid period of the Nepalese visa.
You are requested to ensure that you get the arrival/departure stamps on your passport at the entry /exit points to avoid possible legal complications.
Living in Nepal without a passport or a valid visa is a punishable offence.
Deviation from the prescribed trekking routes mentioned on your trekking permit will be treated as a violation of the law.
You are advised to be aware of brokers/cheaters and counterfeit documents or visa/trekking permits to avoid legal complications.
Change of purpose of your stay without permission is not allowed and employment or voluntary services while on a tourist visa is strictly prohibited. It will be a punishable offence.
Be certain to register at the police and Immigration check points along any trail. It would be wise to register your trekking destination and schedule at your Embassy or Consulate.
If you encounter problems along the trails, immediately inform the nearest police or Immigration post officials.
You are requested to change money with recognized dealers and do not forget to take and keep formal receipts.
You are requested to inform the officials at an Immigration Office or Police Station of any changes in the address previously given in your visa application form or disembarkation card, and within seven days.
If, as a tourist, your stay is more than 120 days in one visa year and you wish to visit additional places for longer than 24 hours, you must register at the local police office of such places, your name, passport number and address.
You are advised to be mindful to contact the Department of Immigration to request a visa transfer in the case of getting a new passport or travel document from your embassy, and within seven days.
Passport and trekking permits should be kept by each trekker while trekking.
Filming in restricted or notified areas without permission is strictly prohibited.
Please do not take out the visa stickers from your passport and do not try to change records printed in your passport.

All trekkers are required to carry a Trekkers' Information Management System card (TIMS card). It is available from the Tourist Services Centre in Kathmandu: Sun – Fri 10:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 17:00. It is free, but requires two passport photographs. (Trekking agencies provide the cards for their clients.) Show it at check points on trekking routes.
Trekking Permits are required for all treks that pass through Conservation Areas or National Parks.
Conservation Area permits can be purchased at the Tourist Services Centre for Rs 2000 plus two photographs.
National Park entry tickets cost Rs 3000 and require no photograph. Purchase at the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation office Sun – Fri 09:00 – 14:00 only (next to the Tourist Services office).
Restricted Area Permits are required mainly for camping style trekking in remote areas near the Tibetan border – for which a guide is strongly recommended. They can only be purchased for two or more trekkers. The permits are issued by the Central Immigration Office, require two working days, your original passports (not facsimiles) and two photographs. Costs range from US$10/week to US$500/10 days plus substantial additional amounts for each additional day. These will be procured by your chosen trekking agency. Offices are open daily, but with restricted hours on Saturdays.
The foreign tourist visiting Nepal shall be granted the tourist visa.
The tourist visa shall be granted for a period in maximum of 150 days in a visa year (Visa years means January to December).
A tourist who has departed before the expiry of the period specified in the visa issued in a visa year shall not be allowed to use the visa by adding the remaining period to another visa year.
If any foreigner who has entered into Nepal towards the end of a visa year desires to spend even the period during which he may stay in Nepal with the tourist visa of the other visa year, he may use such facility.
Provided, however, that the computation of the fees for such period shall be made on the basis of the total period of his stay.

Nar Phu Valley trek in Annapurna region is remote trekking experience with visit two wild trekking villages Nar and Phu Village.
Nar Phu Valley Trek is the best out of best treks to experience the Himalayan wilderness in the remote villages of Annapurna region. Phu: also known as head of the valley is renowned for Tashi Lhakhang Gompa which was supposed to be built in 10th century.The trail from Phu traces to another popular village Nar (3,730m) which is bigger and beautiful than Phu. After trekking in the Nar-Phu villages, the trail follows the Manang crossing Kang La Pass. The most extraordinary moment of the trek is traversing Manang to Mustang through the highest pass: Thorang La Pass. Eventually, the trek drops down through Jomsom-Kagbeni to Ghorepani and then Poon Hill from where trekkers can perceive the spectacular scenery of the snow capped mountains and golden sunrise view. The trek is adventurous, melodious, pleasant and exquisite which should not be missed by enthusiastic trekkers.
The Nar-Phu Valley Trekking is comparatively longer, strenuous, and challenging than any other trek in Annapurna region trek which demands extra physical fitness and prior trekking experience; otherwise this trek could be risky and hazardous to novice and unfit trekkers. During the trek, we trace through dense forest, deep canyons, narrow ridge and cliff, grazing settlements and high passes which could sometime need technical well equipped gears during winter and summer seasons.
On the first day, one of the representatives of MMT welcomes you at the Airport Terminal and then you will be taken to MMT office at Kaldhara for all the further detail information about the trip. Eventually, the authorized person safely and comfortably takes you to the respective hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy the city night life in Thamel; main tourist hub in Kathmandu.
This day is scheduled to visit the UNESCO listed World Heritage sites including: Swayambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath, along with other historical and holy places. Swoyambnhunath: After delightful breakfast in the morning, our city tour guide takes you to Swayambhunath which is at the top of the hillock to the west of Thamel. Swayambhunath is one of the oldest temples of Nepal which is popular among foreigners as ‘Monkey Temple’. The spectacular scenery, cheerful monkeys, tranquil environment makes Swoyambhu worth visit. Patan Durbar square: The excursion then accelerates towards Patan, the city of festival, feast, art and culture. The city is prominent place to visit due to ancient Patan Durbar square, Krishna Mandir, Ganesh mandir and many more temples and places. We inspect art, history, cultural importance and architectural craftsmanship of the city. Boudhanath: Boudhanath is next destination of city tour which lies at northeast of Kathmandu. The stupa here is one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and is mostly visited by the Buddhist and Hindus pilgrims throughout the year. The aesthetic monks, prayer hymn, rolling Mani Wheels, and effused incense stick have made the vibrant ambiance in this area. Pashupatinath: Another most exciting place to visit in Kathmandu is Pashupatinath temple, the oldest temple in Nepal. This temple of lord Shiva is one of the sacred temples of Hindus living in every nook and corner. Non-Hindus are not allowed to enter inside the premises of the temple; however, one can capture the photos of the traditional cremation ceremony and temple from the opposite bank of the holy Bagmati River. After visiting the main UNESCO heritage sites, the guides then take you back to your own hotel. Get refreshed and prepare gears or luggage for the next day trek.
After delicate breakfast in the early morning, we drive to in our private jeep/van through Prithivi highway tracing the route of thankot, Dhading, Gorkha and Lamjung (Besisahar) before we reach at Sange/ Jagat. The first 5-6 hours of drive is so relaxing and comfortable due to coal tarred road up-to Besisahar; then-after, we experience the bumpy, dusty and rustic drive up-to our destination Jagat. Today’s drive is thrilling and exciting; as well as we also witness countryside lifestyle, green rolling hills at backdrop, surging rivers, dazzling snow-clad mountains, terraced farmland and pristine environment which ease our soul and mind. After 8-10 hours of scenic drive, we reach at Syange/ Jagat where we take today’s shelter.
From Syange, we start our trek through dense forest and surging Marsyangdi river crossing suspension bridge over river canyon. Along the trail, we see numerous waterfalls, green lush vegetation and rice fields in steep hills. After an hour of steep staircase walk through dense forest and wooden bridges, we reach at Chamje. Again crossing many suspension bridges over Marsyangdi River and tracing through the dense forest, steep rocky trail, the trail leads us to Tal village. The journey from Tal then ascends to the famous village Dharapani with outstanding view of waterfall, ridges, cliffs, and greenish landscape. Overnight, stay at Dharapani.
After morning breakfast, we ascend uphill through dense forest, tributaries, gorges and steep stone staircase tracing the villages Bagarchap and Danakyu. The journey offers us to enjoy fascinating turquoise surrounding; the Tibetan Buddhist Lifestyle, culture and tradition; panoramic view of snow-clad mountains: Lamjung Himal, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, and few other peaks. After 5-6 hours of trek from Dharapani, we reach at Koto for today’s meals and accommodation.
We have our delicate breakfast in the early morning and prepare for today’s trek. From Koto, the trail drops for few minutes then we cross a suspension bridge over the confluence river of Marsyandi and Naar Khola. After crossing the bridge, we turn right side and ascend ahead through dense forest to ACAP Campsite along Naar Khola. From the campsite, the trail follows the ridge crossing suspension bridge, Soti-bridge over Seti Khola and another bridge before passing Hulaki Odar (Post man cave). While walking from Campside to Hulaki Odar, we come across numerous bridges and natural caves along the trails. The surging rivers, narrow cliff walk, serene scenery and green surrounding entice the trekkers to enjoy the trek. From Hulaki Odar, the trek advances further crossing two suspension bridges over Narphu Khola and enjoying the surging big waterfall below the village Dharmasala. After 4-5 hours of walk from Koto, we take today’s shelter at Dharmasala.
Today’s trail is one of the shortest but strenuous trails of Narphu Valley Trek. In the early morning, we have our warm breakfast and begin our trek from Dharmasala ascending through landslide prone trail along Phu Khola. After walking for few hours, we cross a small stream and climb steep up through barley field and reach at wide winter settlement: Meta. The trail from Meta again ascends until we reach at the Nar-Phu junction from where the trails either head to Nar or to Phu villages. From the junction, we climb steep up to Jhunum, then descend down, cross the suspension bridge over stream and continue to climb the moraine glacier trail until we reach at Chyakhu. Further from Chyakhu village, the trail ascends for few minutes and descends down to Murju Khola which separates the two Nar and Phu villages. Eventually, cross a wooden bridge, climb again through moraine and small pass and drop down to Khyang: the most beautiful winter settlement of. Overnight, stay at Khyang.
From Kyang, the trail descends steep down through the rocky boulders of Phu Khola and ascends on the gorge to Khaki hillside from where we descend to S-shaped valley. Again, we ascend along the canyon, pass through the Phupi Gyaigoe gate and enter inside the Phu region. The trail then traces along the edge, passes a ruined fort and descends to suspension before before climbing up to cliff of Phu village. After few hours of walk from Khyang, we reach at the extraordinary village of this region where we take today’s shelter.
Today, you can either give rest to your tired limbs or join the short hike we organize to explore the Phu Valley. The short hike either leads up-to Nagoru Kharka (Pasture) or to the Himlung Base Camp (4,920m). After enjoying the delicious breakfast, we visit Tashi Lhakhang Gompa on the hill-top and explore architecture of gompa; observe ceremonial trumpets and the mask of god Dorje Dorlo. From the helipad round the Gompa, we can witness the spectacular view of the Phu valley. The traditional culture, ancient forts and gompas are some of the attractions of the village. Phu also provides the panoramic scenery and tantalizing lighting for breath-taking photography. Overnight, stay at Phu.
From Phu, the trail descends retracing the previous trodden trail to Khyang, Chyarkhu and Jhunum until we come at the junction. The trail then drops down to Nar Phedi crossing two small bridges over the canyon of Dho Khola. After trekking for 6-7 hours from Phu, we reach at Nar Phedi to take shelter at lodge or at monastery: whichever is available for us.
Today, we ascend steep up to the 1st entrance gate of Nar Valley; again climb along the curvy ridge enjoying the panoramic view of some peaks and pass beautifully colored eight-sided chortens. After couple of hours of trek from Nar Phedi, we pass the 2nd entrance gate of Nar Valley and trace the trail above stone wall until we reach at the most beautiful and decent villages of Narphu valley. Overnight, stay at Nar village.
Today is the second scheduled acclimatization day of the trek. During this day, we explore the culture, tradition, lifestyle and beautiful gompas of Phu village. The day will also be rest and preparation day for tomorrow’s longest and challenging Kang La Pass (5,322m) trail. After few hours of short hike, we return back to the lodge and give rest to the muscle and limbs.
Today, we start the trek in the early morning as we have to cross the Kang La before noon; otherwise it becomes difficult due to strong wind in the daytime. From Nar, the trail climbs up through the village Kani with the splendid view of Pisang Peak. After an hour of walk, we come across the yak pasture and then climb the hill from where Nar village is seen for the last time. The trail from the hill now descends to Kang La Phedi (4,620m) and then we cross a small stream on a metal bridge. The trek further follows the steep up then curve into the ridge and eventually traces the zigzag path to the top of the Kang La, marked by large cairn. From the pass, we can witness the spectacular view Annapurna II, Tilicho Lake, Gangapurna and few other peaks. The trail to Ngawal hereafter follows the downhill grassy route and then through the moraine glacier for few minutes. After moraine path ends, the hill top before descending down to Ngawal offers the magnificent view of two big waterfalls of Chulu Peak. Finally, we drop steep down to Ngawal for today’s accommodation and meals.
After breakfast, we walk alongside Lophelling Monastery and Shey Monastery above Ngawal, we reach at Julu intersection from where we turn right to Braga Village where we have our lunch and then walk on the cliff through the upstream of Marsyandi River to the most advanced village: Manang. The village is one of the largest villages of this region where we spend the two nights and acclimatization day. Overnight, stay at Manang.
As suggested by health expertise, acclimatization at the higher altitude is mandatory in long days trek. Today, we organize a short hike to Bhojo Gompa or Gangapuram Lake or Braga Monastery and explore the culture, tradition as well as the elegant surrounding of the village. We also visit Himalayan Rescue Association and learn about Acute Mountain Sickness too. The day is fruitful to rest the limbs and muscle as we have to climb to the highest pass: Thorang La Pass in two days time.
In the early morning, we eat delicious breakfast and then prepare for our journey. From Manang, we cross a stream and ascend to the Tenki Village. Then, we turn to north and follow through dense forest and pasture land before we reach at tiny village: Ghusang. Tracing the bent trail and crossing the suspension bridge on the ridge, we climb steep up to Yak Kharkha for today’s overnight stay.
The trail today is short, steep yet pleasant. From Yak Kharkha, we ascend Steep up to landslide risk trail alongside Kone Khola; and then cross a suspension bridge before we reach at Ledar village. The trail then ascends uphill along Marsyangdi River crossing several streams and narrow path then eventually descends to Thorang La Phedi tracing landslide prone trail. Overnight, stay at Thorang La Phedi.
Thorang La Pass is the highest, challenging and adventurous Pass on Annapurna Circuit. From Thrang La Phedi, we ascend steep up and reach at the top of Thorang High Camp. After walking for few hours and crossing bridges and false summit, we reach at the top of the Thorang La Pass which is the vantage point to witness the wonderful Annapurna Range, Kali Gandaki Gorge, pristine scenery and snow-clad mountains in the distance. Enjoying sometime at the Pass, we descend down towards one of the sacred Hindu-Buddhist Muktinath temple. Overnight, stay at Muktinath.
After delicious breakfast, we leave Muktinath in a hired jeep. The drive from Muktinath offers us something extraordinary adventurous escapade in the arid landscape of Mustang. We drive from Muktinath through dry, busty and rustic road; and after one and half hour, we drive through trading route of Kagbeni and reach at Jomsom. The wind at jomsom can blow you in the air. On our way to tatopani, we come across the famous apple orchid village: Marpha. The blooming flowers or trees full of apples in the village make the drive awe-inspiring and rejuvenating. The drive then leads us to famous village of the natural hot springs Tatopani for today’s shelter.
After spending wonderful time at the natural hot spring on previous day, we resume our trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani in the early morning. Walking along the motor road, we drop down for a while and cross one of the longest suspension bridge over Kali Gandaki River tracing through dense forest and the villages Ghara, Shikha, Phalate and Chitre before reaching Ghorepani. Overnight, we stay at Ghorepani.
In the early morning, we trek to one of the most elegant hill top of Annapurna Region for wonderful view. Poon Hill is the spectacular place from where we can witness the coruscating view of Annapurna south, Dhaulagiri, Gangapurna, Annapurna I, etc. After enjoying the pristine scenery and stupendous view of snow clad mountains, we descend to Tadapani following the steep staircase. Tadapni also offer the view of Annapurna south and Macchapuchre Himal. Overnight, stay at Tadapani.
After enjoying delicate breakfast, we start our hike from Tadapani to Ghandruk tracing through traditional Gurung villages and the dense forest. Ghandruk is the beautiful and cultural Gurung village of the region. If we reach on time, we explore the village, visit museum and enjoy the culture-tradition of Gurung community at Ghandruk.
At Ghandruk, we enjoy our early morning breakfast witnessing the elegant surrounding and commence our trek descending down to Pothana walking along the cliff and dense forest. Treading the curve path below Landruk, we drop to Tolka, Deurali and then finally reach at Pothana which is at the ridge and offers the coruscating view of numerous snow-clad mountains. Today, we take shelter at Pothana.
The journey offers us the pristine views of Himalayan Range, green lush vegetation while descending From Pothana to Dhampus to Phedi through dense forest. At Phedi, we take some rest and drive to famous and beautiful tourist hub of Nepal Pokhara where we celebrate our victory and enjoy the modern amenities.
Enjoy the delicious breakfast at the city of lakes before we leave Pokhara. From Pokhara, we drive for 5-6 hours on tourist bus and reach at Katmandu in the afternoon. You can take rest in the hotel or stroll around Thamel area to enjoy the city life.
After final checking at hotel, we leave towards Tribhuwan International Airport for departure flight.
Eating is a big part of Holiday. Travelling with Mountain Mart Trek, you experience the vast array of wonderful food Nepalese, Chinese, Continental, Italian and several local cuisines. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are included in the package. Your guide will suggest delicious, hygienic and each place special food during your trip. Mountain restaurant owner prefer not to order many dishes and waste food as they would like to cater more trekkers with limited food before run off stuck. Its a week or more days hard work to porters and caravans to bring food to these places. During this trek you will usually have breakfast and dinner at the same Lodge, lunch will be eaten at one of the trail side restaurants en-route.
A Tea House is the combination of guest house, restaurant, and social hang out. Private rooms are available in most Tea Houses, except for high altitudes ones where it will be just dormitories. The lodges are fairly basic. The rooms are spare with twin beds and very little additional furniture. Blankets are generally provided. There is a large dining room-cum-lounge, warmed by the bukhara stove (an iron cylinder, fitted with a chimney duct, in which a log fire is lighted. There is normally no electric lighting in the rooms unless the village has hydroelectric power. The dining room usually hassolar lighting.
Most teahouses now also have electricity for charging small appliances - mobile phones and cameras - and there may be a small charge for this.
Mountain Mart Trek provides unlimited chlorine/Iodine treated water during the trek. All tea houses have mineral water and boiled water for trekkers upon additional cost. We discourage the purchase of Mineral water and bottled water while on the Trek as plastic bottles aredifficult to dispose off and have become an environmental problem

This is a very active trip, meaning you will be on the move most of the time, so pack as lightly as possible. We provide one porter for every two travellers; your trekking gear will be carried by the porter in a duffel bag that we will provide. The maximum the porters are allowed to carry 15 kgs per trekker means 30 kgs from 2 trekkers . Unnecessary luggage can left in Kathmandu Hotel and its absolutely free of cost. .

You will need to bring a comfortable medium sized day pack to carry the things that you will need during the day. This should have a waist strap or (better) a padded waist belt. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the year.

5. The travelers must pay 20% upfront out of the total trip cost for the trip conformation.
6. You can pay the booking conformation amount either by credit card and wire transfer, both payment option subject to charge additional bank service fees upto 4% on top of the sum.
7. The trip will be booked once the payment is made by the travelers. We will send you the conformation letter through online and assure to provide all the service detail as mentioned in the itinerary.
8. The final payment must be submitted at the MMT office before the tip departure. Otherwise, you will not be legitimate for trip and no final documentation will be disclosed before the payment.
09. Regarding trip cancellation, we entertain free trip cancellation service upon submission of trustable reason before 90 days of the departure date upon adequate evidence and written reasons.
10. If you cancel the trip 60 days prior to the departure date then 75% cancellation fee will be levied from the booking amount.
11. 85% cancellation fee will be levied if you cancel the trip before 30 days of the trip departure date.
12. The company will be unable to refund the earlier paid (20%) booking payment if you cancel the trek prior to 15 days of the departure date.
13. There will be no payment refund if you voluntarily leave or cancel the trip once it is started; but if you are forced to leave due to unforeseen immediate circumstances then payment can be refunded after proper discretion.
14. We guarantee your safe and successful trip; however, the company reserves the authority to cancel the trip if there will be no minimum number (2) of travelers. In this condition, company will postpone or manage alternative trip.
15. If the company cancels the trip due to any unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control (i.e. natural disaster, flight cancellation, strikes, wars, riots, quarantine, government intervention policy, weather condition), we will refund after deduction of minimum operating cost involved.
16. If you want to change your booking date, the booking amendment request must be made 90 days prior to the original trip departure.
17. If trekkers demand to change the departure date prior to 60 days of the final departure, US $ 50.00 per person will be charged as cancelation fee. The charge of the trip may also be increased if the market price soars higher during the postponed trip date.
18. The policy of our company is: Trekkers must have insurance policy contract if they want to trek with MMT. The policy must feature: medical coverage, air ambulance, helicopter evacuation facility, as well as flight cancellation insurance if possible.
19. Mountain Mart Treks and Expedition organizes various adventurous trips which have high risk factor and demand more physical stamina plus training. If you can’t accomplish the trek due to your physical inability or sickness, we are not obliged to refund the payment.
20. There may appear hindrance, obstacles or circumstances like: political riot, insurgency, accident, climate change, or natural disasters during the course of trip. Make sure you are ready to deal with all these problems.
21. The trip route, accommodation, modes of transport may be changed without prior notice due to the unforeseen circumstances. It is for your convenience and safety, so hope you will display flexible human nature in this context.
22. While changing the route, transportation, accommodation, or itinerary due to above circumstances, we may charge additional cost or lessen the cost as per the total expenses of the entire trek.
23. MMT holds all the authority to decline, accept, detain or retain any members of the trip if we find anyone suspicious or indiscipline. If you want to trek with MMT, you must accept our leadership during the whole trip.
24. MMT has contracted with network of companies, government of Nepal, individuals to assist the travelers during the trip. These third parties are qualified to perform their duties as contracted. We are not liable in case of loss, damage, irregularities if the third parties don’t perform their duties properly.
25. MMT is not responsible for the violation of any law or rules committed by the travelers in any country.
26. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Government of Nepal. No any individual: employees, representatives, guides of the company can alter the terms and conditions.
27. These terms and conditions may only be waived in special circumstances with written application to the director. Only the director of the company has all the right to amend them.
28. Travelers must be physically and mentally fit for the trekking. It is compulsory to bring health certificates along with proper legal documents for trip approval, if asked.
29. If the flight is cancelled or get delayed due to fluctuate climate or any other causes, MMT is not responsible for the extra expenses or compensation. We can manage alternative arrangement on special request which may demand other extra cost.
30. We have displayed the authentic, genuine and accurate information on our official website and brochure. If any mistake, incomplete or wrong information is seen, please inform us on time.
31. Please read all the above mentioned ‘Terms and Conditions’ before making the bookings. You must abide these conditions if you fancy to trek in the Himalayas with Mountain Mart Treks (MMT)
Foreigners other than Indian citizen, who intend to visit Nepal must hold a valid passport prior to applying for a Nepal visa. The passport must have six months validity from the date of arrival. Foreigners can obtain a Nepalese visa upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, or at a border immigration office. One recent copy of a passport size color photo is required to apply for Tourist Visa to Nepal. Mountain Mart Trek has listed Nepal visa information tips for travelers to Nepal.
A foreigner who has departed before the expiry of the period specified in the visa issued in a visa year shall not be allowed to use the visa by adding the remaining period to another visa year. If any foreigner who has entered Nepal towards the end of a visa year desires to extend his/her stay into the new visa year, he/she may do so by purchasing another visa for the New Year. Provided, however, that the computation of the fees for such period shall be made on the basis of the total period of the stay.
An application for a Tourist Visa must be submitted in the format referred to in Appendix 1.

A transit visa for one day can be obtained from Nepal's immigration offices at an entry point upon the production of a departure flight ticket via Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The fee is US$ 5 or equivalent convertible currency. A transit visa may not be extended.
A Nepali Visa can be obtained from Nepal Embassy / Consulate Offices in your country, or upon arrival at Kathmandu airport. It is also possible to obtain the visa from other border points of entry. You'll need 1 passport photo each time.
For foreign investors, a business visa with a multiple entry facility for a period of one year or five years can be obtained from the Department of Immigration on the recommendation of the Department of Industry and Commerce by paying US$ 100 and US$ 250 or equivalent convertible foreign or Nepali currency.

Foreign visitors are requested to keep a note of the dates on their Nepalese visa and their passport number to avoid possible problems. Visa extensions need to be applied for, within the valid period of the Nepalese visa.
You are requested to ensure that you get the arrival/departure stamps on your passport at the entry /exit points to avoid possible legal complications.
Living in Nepal without a passport or a valid visa is a punishable offence.
Deviation from the prescribed trekking routes mentioned on your trekking permit will be treated as a violation of the law.
You are advised to be aware of brokers/cheaters and counterfeit documents or visa/trekking permits to avoid legal complications.
Change of purpose of your stay without permission is not allowed and employment or voluntary services while on a tourist visa is strictly prohibited. It will be a punishable offence.
Be certain to register at the police and Immigration check points along any trail. It would be wise to register your trekking destination and schedule at your Embassy or Consulate.
If you encounter problems along the trails, immediately inform the nearest police or Immigration post officials.
You are requested to change money with recognized dealers and do not forget to take and keep formal receipts.
You are requested to inform the officials at an Immigration Office or Police Station of any changes in the address previously given in your visa application form or disembarkation card, and within seven days.
If, as a tourist, your stay is more than 120 days in one visa year and you wish to visit additional places for longer than 24 hours, you must register at the local police office of such places, your name, passport number and address.
You are advised to be mindful to contact the Department of Immigration to request a visa transfer in the case of getting a new passport or travel document from your embassy, and within seven days.
Passport and trekking permits should be kept by each trekker while trekking.
Filming in restricted or notified areas without permission is strictly prohibited.
Please do not take out the visa stickers from your passport and do not try to change records printed in your passport.
We request your co-operation in observing the following guidelines during your stay in Nepal. Respect local traditions, customs, values and sentiments, help to protect local culture and maintain local pride.
Indian citizens are permitted to travel in Nepal provided they have any one of the following documents:
Passport; Driving license with photograph; Identity card with photograph issued by a governmental body; Ration card with photograph; Voter identity card with photograph; Registration certificate issued by the Indian embassy to Indian citizens residing in Nepal; Ad hoc/temporary identity cards issued by the Indian embassy to the Indian citizen in the event of exigency; Document with photograph and setting out identity, issued by the sub-divisional magistrate or authority there above.

All trekkers are required to carry a Trekkers' Information Management System card (TIMS card). It is available from the Tourist Services Centre in Kathmandu: Sun – Fri 10:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 17:00. It is free, but requires two passport photographs. (Trekking agencies provide the cards for their clients.) Show it at check points on trekking routes.
Trekking Permits are required for all treks that pass through Conservation Areas or National Parks.
Conservation Area permits can be purchased at the Tourist Services Centre for Rs 2000 plus two photographs.
National Park entry tickets cost Rs 3000 and require no photograph. Purchase at the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation office Sun – Fri 09:00 – 14:00 only (next to the Tourist Services office).
Restricted Area Permits are required mainly for camping style trekking in remote areas near the Tibetan border – for which a guide is strongly recommended. They can only be purchased for two or more trekkers. The permits are issued by the Central Immigration Office, require two working days, your original passports (not facsimiles) and two photographs. Costs range from US$10/week to US$500/10 days plus substantial additional amounts for each additional day. These will be procured by your chosen trekking agency. Offices are open daily, but with restricted hours on Saturdays.
The foreign tourist visiting Nepal shall be granted the tourist visa.
The tourist visa shall be granted for a period in maximum of 150 days in a visa year (Visa years means January to December).
A tourist who has departed before the expiry of the period specified in the visa issued in a visa year shall not be allowed to use the visa by adding the remaining period to another visa year.
If any foreigner who has entered into Nepal towards the end of a visa year desires to spend even the period during which he may stay in Nepal with the tourist visa of the other visa year, he may use such facility.
Provided, however, that the computation of the fees for such period shall be made on the basis of the total period of his stay.
