After landing at Lukla airport, get some rest at the local Lodge, arrange the bag-packs, while our guide introduce your porters. From Lukla, the trek on foot commences after submitting the trekking Permit card at Lukla checkpoint and marks ahead through the Pashang Lhamu Sherpa memorial gate. We provide you the best hotel, hygienic cuisine, and friendly hospitality with excellent service at Phakding.
Today’s trail traces through the dense fir, pine, and rhododendron forest along Dudh Koshi River and ascends to Benkar climbing a small ridge. From Benkar, the trail traces to Chhumuwa and Monjo through dense forest and suspension bridges. Register the trekking permit at Monjo Check-post and trek inside the Sagarmatha National Park. The journey inside the park offers an exquisite environment. Even, you may encounter wild animals and various species of vegetation. From here, cross the Tenzing-Hillary suspension bridge over Dudh-Koshi River and ascend an hour with valley view along pine and fir forest. Your trail continues raising toward ridge which offers the first introductory view of Mt. Everest. After a couple of hours gradual uphill walk, the trail finally reaches Namche: the largest tourism hub in the Everest region. Namche is the perfect destination to enjoy the standard accommodation and modern amenities like ATM, pub, restaurants, etc.
Namche is the best place to explore the culture, lifestyle and modern amenities. At Namche, we acclimatize and organize a short hike to the Sherpa settlements in the Khumjung valley. After breakfast, the hike marches to the Sagarmatha National Park museum on the hillock. The museum displays the information of Sherpa culture, local flora, and fauna of this region. Inspecting the museum, the trip moves towards the Everest view hotel which is one of the world’s highest hotels in the world. From the hotel, we witness the panoramic view of snow-capped mountains like Mt. Khumbila (5,761m/18,901ft), Mt. Thamserku (6,623m/21,729ft), Mt. Everest (8,848m/29,029ft), Lhotse (8,516m/27,940ft) and AmaDablam (6,812m/22,349ft). The hike then after continues to Khumjung and Kunde villages with the physically fit trekkers, the trekkers who feel exhausted can return back to the lodge at Namche. In the villages Khumjung and Kunde, we visit the Yeti headed monastery, Khumjung Hillary School and Kunde Hillary hospital which were established by Sir Edmund Hillary in the Everest Region. After exploring the Khumjung valley, the hike from Kunde drops to Syangboche airstrip which offers the picturesque scenery of Namche village from the runway. Eventually, the trail drops down to Namche hotel after the hike, take rest or explore the beautiful tourist hub, Namche bazaar. The night at Namche becomes memorable and fascinating with an advance level of accommodation, meals, and hospitality.
Have delicate breakfast in the early morning and ascend through the Namche village enjoying the wonderful view of Mt. Everest. After walking for a couple of hours zigzag flat route, the trail halts at Sanasa junction from where we take a right turn to EBC. Descend down to the villages Lawichasa and Tashinga with the majestic view of sparkling Ama Dablam (6856m/22,493ft) and again, the trail drops to a beautiful village with clustered houses, Phunki Thanga. At Phunki, we have our lunch before taking a final ascend to Tengboche. From Phunki Thanga, we follow through the dense rhododendron, juniper, and pine forest and reach Tengboche. The village is renowned for one of the oldest monasteries, Tengboche Gompa, the Gompa holds the most sacred festival of this region, Mani Rimdu festival, in the month of October-November. Explore the gompa and inspect evening prayer in the evening time. Tengboche is a fine village to have cozy accommodation and delightful meals.
After having warm breakfast at Tengboche, we follow the stone-paved trail for short time and then ascend to Debuche. Debuche Nunnery is a famous place to visit at Debuche. Inspect the Thanka paintings, Mural paintings, and architecture of the nunnery, take some rest before resuming the trek. From Debuche, trace through the dense forest, arid landscape and moraine boulders with the wonderful view of Ama Dablam Peak (6856m) until we reach Pangboche. From Pangboche, the trail ascends to Somare then to Orso and ascends further higher crossing a suspension bridge over Imja River. The final phase of the trail ascends alongside the Imja River, for few hours and reaches the summer village, Dingboche. It is the perfect village for better accommodation before marching to last human settlements at the higher elevation.
As recommended by the high altitude experts, acclimatization before ascending above 4,500m is mandatory due to the low level of oxygen in the higher elevation. The acclimatization helps the trekkers to adjust the thin air. The day is also important as trekkers get a chance to explore the beautiful summer village. After breakfast, we hike over the north ridge of Dingboche and climb to Nangkar Tshang Peak (5,616m/18,425ft) witnessing the exquisite glimpse of snow-capped peaks Mt. Makalu (8,463m/21,204ft), AmaDablam (6,856m/22,493ft), Island peak (6,189m/20,305ft) and Thamserku (6623m/21,729ft). After enjoying the wonderful vista from the top of the peak, descend down the ridge; and on the way back to Dingboche, visit Nangkar Tshang Gompa and enjoy the aesthetic environment. The summer village, Dingboche, is best for late sunshine. Enjoy the good time at Dingboche, have hygienic meals and take proper rest for tomorrow’s trek.
Today’s trek is a complete uphill walk from Dingboche to Lobuche. After delicate breakfast in the early morning, we begin our trek tracing through rocky boulders to Dusa. From here, take incline walk along the ridge to Dughla village and ascend further enjoying the fantastic view of countless peaks like Taboche (6,542m), Cholatse (6,440m), Ama Dablam (6,856m), Pumori (7,161m), Khumbutse (6,636) and Lhotse (8,516m). After an hour walk along the ridge, crosse Thokla Pass (4,830m/15,846ft) through the moraine glacial formed by Khumbu glacier, and walk for a few more minutes to reach today’s destination, Lobuche. The village used to be a last human settlement when Gorakshep was the base camp. At Lobuche, enjoy the warm meal and take rest earlier as we have to climb to the Everest Base Camp tomorrow.
Today is the day our dream comes true. In the early morning, we begin our trek to the world’s highest base camp. Trace through the narrow mountain gaps and glacial moraine then walk for 2-3 hours of rocky path walk to the last human settlement, Gorakshep. The village is a junction from where the left trail takes to Kala Patthar and the right trail traces to EBC. Check-in the hotel at Gorakshep, loosen your backpack and be ready to make the trek to EBC following the right side from Gorakshep. From here, we ascend for another 2-3 hours through the rocky sandpit and boulders alongside the glacial river of the world’s highest Khumbu glacier and finally reach the serene destination of Everest region, Everest Base camp (5,364m). The base camp offers the cerulean landscape, 360° view of Mountains like Nuptse-Lhotse, and Khumbu glacier just above EBC. Enjoy some good time with other international trekkers, capture the best picture, celebrate the triumph, and exchange happiness with one another. After a few time, return back to Gorakshep for today’s meals and accommodation.
Genuinely speaking, Mt. Everest isn’t clearly and precisely perceived from EBC; so, Mountain Mart Treks arranges a side trip to the Kala Patthar summit (5,550m/18,208ft) for the spectacular sunrise view over Mt. Everest and 360° view of snow-capped mountains. In the early morning at around 4 am, we commence the trek from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar. After having a delicate breakfast at Gorakshep, the journey from the land of Himalayas descends down retracing the previous trail. The trail then drops down to Debuche and then take a short inclined walk to the hilltop of Tengboche through dense rhododendron forest. From Tengboche, we have a long descent walk to Phunki Thenga (3,250m/10,663ft) to take a final climb to Sanasa. Eventually, the trail from Sanasa fork moderate flat to Namche for today’s accommodation. Overnight, stay at Namche.

The trail retraces the route of National park boarder Jorsalle village to Monjo and then takes descent to Chhumuwa, Benkar, Ghat, and Cheplung with the wonderful vista of sparkling peaks on the background. Eventually from Cheplung, we ascend for more than half an hour and reach Lukla. Evening, farewell ceremony with hard working and ever smiling porter.
Finally from Lukla, we return back to Kathmandu with 30-40 minutes scenic flight. After landing at TIA, you will be transferred to your hotel, Afternoon, simply relax and wonder around nearby.
After breakfast, check out hotel 12 pm and transfer to Tribhuvan International airport for the final departure flight or involve into relevant vacation attraction.

Just completed the 14 day Everest basecamp trek! It was a breath taking experience :)
Communication with dolakh was easy and he answered all our questions when we were planning our trip. He was able to accommodate our travel dates even though they weren’t listed on the website.
The 14 day EBC package included 12 day EBC trek and 2 nights in hotel jampa in Kathmandu.
Our guide Lochan was excellent. He is so funny and I was glad to have him as a guide. He is very knowledgeable about the mountains and altitude sickness. He checked out vitals/assessed our wellbeing every night. He speaks English very well also.
Dawa our porter was also very friendly and it was a pleasure having him as part of our group. He accompanied us on our acclimatizing days as well as some other days and it was nice to talk with him too, he’s such a strong hiker. He makes a delicious fresh apple pie ::yum::
In the end my friend and I both made it to EBC successfully and I would say I was very satisfied with the services provided by mountain mart (dolakh, lochan, and dawa).
It is not an easy trek by any means, but reaching the goal was so sweet. I also made it to kala Patthar summit, I highly recommend the extra effort to do that hike because the view is absolutely stunning.
There were a few easy days, but it was pretty physically tough and also mentally tough with the colder temperatures. Over all though it was an amazing adventure and I’d recommended it to anyone who really wants to take on the challenge.

This trek was an incredible experience and definitely a fun challenge. Sagarmatha National Park is an absolutely beautiful place with an endless number of mountains to see.
Mountain Mart set us up with everything we needed. Our guide Tilak was an exceptional guide that took the time to teach us the various peaks through out the trek. His expertise of the area made our trek stress free from start to finish. During our trip, our entire group all got hit with AMS and Tilak did a great job helping us acclimatize and set a comfortable pace. He and the porters were always happy to help in whatever capacity and were readily available, and we definitely appreciated Tilak’s humor through out the trip. I would do a trek with Tilak again in a heart beat!
Mountain Mart provided an accurate list of things to bring which made packing easier. I picked up a few things in Thamel and Namche once we were into the trek. I would definitely recommend bringing some cards (and a book or two) for the down time in the tea houses. Mountain Mart provided Diamox for the altitude sickness (which hit me in Namche) but if you would like to control your own dosage I would recommend getting a prescription before the trip.
I definitely recommend Mountain Mart and would go with them again for any future treks!

From start to finish this trek has been AHHH-MAZING! I chose Mountain Mart because of the reviews on Trip Advisor and after several hours of research on each company I was considering. I was looking for a heli-trek that had at least 2 acclimatization days, was short, and fit into my schedule. I emailed several companies and Dolakh responded quickly! I began to really trust Dolakh through our email conversations and wanted trek with Mountain Mart!
I ended up not doing the heli-trek because I was trying to get on a trek with other participants. The trek that fit in best with my schedule ended up not having anyone else registered for the trip, but Dolakh assured me I would be fine on my own.
I met Nabin, my guide, the day before we set off for the trek. He kindly looked through the gear I was planning to take and offered advice. Nabin has about 7 years of trekking and instantly made me feel at ease. It never occurred to me that Nabin would be everything from my porter, my Nepali trekking medical expert, my server, and my guide. He did it all! With a smile and a cheery disposition. Each evening Nabin thoroughly would explain the schedule for the next day with me. He would give me advice on how to dress properly for the upcoming weather and terrain. He ALWAYS made sure I understood the details and was patient with any questions I had. Nabin is funny and entertaining, but takes his responsibility as the trip guide very seriously. I literally trusted him with my life! Nabin is an amazing professional and I enjoyed my 12 days following him IMMENSELY! What a joy it was to share this experience with my friend and guide Nabin!!!

Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with Ram Bhandari - Nepal's Best Guide
What an incredible experience. I did EBC with Ram and he was the absolute best guide I could ask for. He adjusts to your pace and his English is impeccable. He's humble and a hard worker. This trek was always on my bucket list and Mountain Mart made it easy. From the airport pickup, to the hotel (which you leave the luggage you do not need for EBC, so a reputable one to keep my laptop, etc. was important to me), to the food, to the trek. It was seamless. I highly recommend a guide to learn about local culture and nuggets that you wouldn't get otherwise.

Everest base camp luxury trek
Genuinely could not recommend these guys enough, 10/10. If you’re going to base camp, it’s gotta be with Kumar Bhoj. Amazing knowledge, friends with everyone and looks after you every step of the way. 4 of us all made it to base camp and back despite cancelled flight to Lukla, and no one got altitude sickness.

Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek
From the start mountain mart have been in constant contact keeping us up to date with the trek.
Once we arrived in Kathmandu they couldn’t have been more attentive.
Once we arrived on the tour our guide Prem was superb, full of local and mountain knowledge.
He helped make sure we didn’t suffer from AMS with tips and helpful facts.
The best thing of all was we had great fun along the trail which made it feel so much easier, laughing and joking in between factual conversations about the mountains and local ways.
I couldn’t recommend this company highly enough.

Luxury Everest Base Camp, the trip of a life time!
I made it to Everest Base Camp and loved the entire trip. Mountain Mart played a pivotal role in making this such a great adventure. The guides they found for us made all the difference in the world.
Our guide, Makar Tamang, is remarkable! I can tell he knew what makes a great adventure even better. He knew every mountain and its specifications, he knew all the local culture and customs and explained them so clearly, he knew what to suggest and what to avoid, he completely understands customer service, his English was amazing, he knew all the right people to get the special orders or service, and he knew the little extras that made it special. Most impressive is who he is, Makar is kind, patient, humble, helpful, FUN, bright, eager, careful, encouraging, and consistent.
Gorka Tamang, our assistant guide was always out front keeping the perfect pace and making sure we were safe and enjoyed the journey. Both the guides and my son had a blast together laughing, singing, sharing and playing around.
There is no way to perfectly describe the views you will see on this journey from the lush green and magical waterfalls of the lower section to the powerful majestic views of the mountains and vistas of the upper section.
This trip will change your life and this country and its people will steal a piece of your soul.
Thank you Dolakh for organizing such a wonderful adventure!

Superb EBC Luxury Trek
Just finished up a fantastic EBC trek. Can't say enough about Mountain Mart and their guide service. Makar Tamang was our main guide and made our trek into a 5+ star trip! This was my second EBC trek. Comparing it to other treks and also seeing how guides from other outfits treated their customers as we trekked (many were very good), we can honestly say Makar is the best guide in the business. His English skills are superb. His knowledge of the mountains and culture is extraordinaire. He is always upbeat and positive. We had so much fun with him and our assistant guide Gorka Tamang, (who is also very funny and friendly.) Our porters, Buddha and Mila were also very courteous and nice. Except for the one torrential down pour during our acclimation day in Namche Bazaar, the weather was perfect! This is a very unique time to do EBC or the Annapurna circuit. This is normally the peak of the busy season, but with COVID, the trails are quiet and beautiful. If you have a chance to trek this fall in Nepal, all I can say is DO IT!!!! Dolakh, the owner of Mountain Mart is SO good at putting together just the right custom trek to meet your needs. I would not hesitate in using them for all your Nepal trekking and expedition needs.

Luxur Everest Base Camp with a superior guide.
I am a 61 year old woman. I'm relatively active but I was unsure if I had the endurance for the Everest Base Camp hike. My husband went 3 years ago and had a great enough experience with Mountain Mart that he wanted to use them again. We were also able to get the same guide, Makar Tamang. Makar has great English skills and is really knowledgeable about the region, the wildlife, vegetation and, of course, the mountains. He assured me I could do it. We kept a good pace meaning up with the other hikers, but slower than the porters. (They are amazing.) Makar took our oxygen levels each evening to be sure we were physically ok. Best of all, I made it! Makar has a fun personality as well as being caring. Our group was always laughing. We had great card games in the tea houses along the way. A great guide really helps on an expedition such as this.
We had another guide, Gorkha. He is cheerful and lots of fun too. They are very respectful and watch out for their cargo, (us). We had such an enjoyable time with our guides.
Dolakh is the owner of Mountain Mart. He was great at arranging transportation from the airport to our hotel and back and forth many times. He helped us jump through the Covid testing requirements. He knew about the hotels in the area and helped us choose a lovely spot. He helped arrange tours in Kathmandu.

In the afternoon time, you will be taken to the MMT office at Kaldhara and will be introduced with your guide. The trekking experts will provide you all the detail information about the trek.
Today, we have to take an early morning flight of Kathmandu-Lukla. Your trekking guide picks you up from Hotel and transfer to TIA domestic airport in our private vehicle. Enjoy the scenic mountain flight and get a perfect glimpse of gigantic mountain ranges. After 30-40 minutes, the flight lands at Lukla, the gateway to the Everest Region. The Lukla airport is also one of the most dangerous airports in the world with just a single runway on a cliff. You might get surprised seeing the airport at such height. Tracing the descent trail to Thalsaroa, and then to Cheplung, the trail traces along Dudh Koshi valley enjoying the introductory view of Mt Khumbila (5,761m/18901ft). After few hours of walk, the trip ascends to Ghat (2,520m/8,350ft). Eventually, after a short inclined walk from Ghat, we reach today’s destination, Phakding.
Tracing the ascent walk for a couple of hours, we reach the Kala Patthar pinnacle. The summit offers a 360° view of mountains like Mt. Everest (8848m/29029ft), Mt. Lingtren (6,749m/22,142ft), Khumbutse (6,636m/21,771ft), Nuptse (7,861m/25,790ft) and Pumori (7,161m/23,494ft). Enjoy the prolific time at the peak and then retrace back to Gorakshep for breakfast. After having a delicate breakfast at Gorakshep, the journey from the land of Himalayas descends down retracing the previous trail. From Gorakshep, we drop to Lobuche and then takes an alternative route for a few hours to reach Pheriche where we visit the famous elementary health camp run under the Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA). The health camp is famous in this region as it provides the emergency health service, we take shelter at Pheriche and comfortable night sleep.
After delightful breakfast at Pheriche, we descend to Orso, Somare, and Pangboche retracing the west bank of Imja River.
From Namche, the trail takes steep descent route crossing a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and through dense pine, fir, and rhododendron forest.
Eating is a big part of Holiday. Traveling with Mountain Mart Trek, you experience the vast array of wonderful food Nepalese, Chinese, Continental, Italian and several local cuisines. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are included in the package. Your guide will suggest delicious, hygienic and each place special food during your trip. Mountain restaurant owner prefer not to order many dishes and waste food as they would like to cater more trekkers with limited food before run off stuck. It's a week or more days hard work to porters and caravans to bring food to these places. During this trek you will usually have breakfast and dinner at the same Lodge, lunch will be eaten at one of the trail side restaurants en-route.
A Tea House is the combination of guest house, restaurant, and social hang out. Private rooms are available in most Tea Houses, except for high altitudes ones where it will be just dormitories. The lodges are fairly basic. The rooms are spare with twin beds and very little additional furniture. Blankets are generally provided. There is a large dining room-cum-lounge, warmed by the Bukhara stove (an iron cylinder, fitted with a chimney duct, in which a log fire is lighted. There is normally no electric lighting in the rooms unless the village has hydroelectric power. The dining room usually has solar lighting.
Most tea houses now also have electricity for charging small appliances - mobile phones and cameras - and there may be a small charge for this.
Mountain Mart Trek provides unlimited chlorine/Iodine treated water during the trek. All tea houses have mineral water and boiled water for trekkers upon additional cost. We discourage the purchase of Mineral water and bottled water while on the Trek as plastic bottles are difficult to dispose off and have become an environmental problem
Mountain Mart Trek offers you complementary route map and T-shirt
This is a very active trip, meaning you will be on the move most of the time, so pack as lightly as possible. We provide one porter for every two travelers; your trekking gear will be carried by the porter in a duffel bag that we will provide. The maximum the porters are allowed to carry 15 kg per trekker means 30 kg from 2 trekkers . Unnecessary luggage can left in Kathmandu Hotel and its absolutely free of cost. .
Please read the Checklist section of this trip notes for additional details of what you need to bring for the trek on this trip. You will need to bring a comfortable medium sized day pack to carry the things that you will need during the day. This should have a waist strap or (better) a padded waist belt. The weather is subject to change in high altitude so layered clothing is recommended throughout the year.

🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
