The inhabitants of the Manaslu region does belong to the multicultural, multilingual and multiracial villages but the upper region is dominated by the Tibetan descendants known as Tsumbas and lower hills have diverse community of Brahmin, Dalits, Gurung, Newars. The Tsumbas have their authentic language and traditions based on Buddhist philosophy. Chortens and long mani walls with beautiful inscription are piled up in every sparse villages.
