Whereas, in the summer season (June-Sept), rain affects the road and the vehicles are forced to park at Phaplu. As airway ticket is so expensive for the local people, the road facility has become a boon to make their local life easy. Genuinely speaking, there is no train tracks or train facility in Nepal. If someone desperately wants to travel to EBC through Train then there is an option available for them: EBC Trek through Northern Side, Tibet (China’s autonomous region); from where there is train facility up-to Lhasa. From Lhasa, there is a direct road route to the Northern Everest Base Camp which makes the journey easy and comfortable.
The Northern Everest Base Camp side (China) is more developed than the Southern Everest Base Camp side (Nepal). Though there is a vehicle route up-to EBC from Tibet, Nepal is the foremost preference of every adventurous trekker. Only Nepal offers the cerulean landscape, beguiling nature, dazzling snow-clad massif or mountains, cultural prolificacy, never colonized history, unity in diversity, religious tolerance which is unattainable while trekking EBC from Northern side (China).
