Unlike mountaineering, EBC Trek doesn’t need ice axe, crampons, ropes, ladder, etc; but we need these gears to adjust and protect ourselves in higher elevation: waterproof jackets, duffle bags, light hiking boots, trekking poles, trekking gloves, extra layer shirts, UV protection sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, thermal socks, etc.
For all this equipment, we need 500-1000 USD budget on average.

Some trekkers also carry dry food, beverages, and other daily basis things which are not included in the package and trekkers have to pay for it.
The average budget for other expenses: 150 USD.
