Nepal once is never enough. The country of Mount Everest (8,848m) is always the popular destination of every mountaineer and adventurous trekker. It was a hidden gem and restricted land for the outsiders before Bill Tillman officially got permission to travel in Nepal in 1949.
After opening frontiers for the outsiders, many mountain expedition teams began to explore the peaks, mountains and trekking in Nepal; and mountaineering began to flourish Nepalese Himalayas. Nepal possesses more than thousand peaks and eight (8) out of fourteen (14) world’s highest peak. The government of Nepal has permitted more than 400 peaks for climbing and mountaineering under the permission and supervision of Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). The NMA has also categorized numerous peaks into Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ on the basis of the height and risk factor so that it will be easy to choose before peak climbing in Nepal.
Nepal is renowned for mountaineering and trekking. Mountaineering is an adventurous activity which requires physical fitness, enthusiasm, pain endurance, and technical knowledge of using gears. Peak climbing is technically, physically and mentally challenging activity which can’t be surmounted in single attempt or without training and physical fitness. The experts always recommend mountaineers to climb peaks of 5000m to 7000m if they don’t have prior experience or technical knowledge.
